It’s a REALLY great band. I like it a lot. But it’s probably the one I wear least between the Alpine, Trail and Ocean bands. I really gotta start wearing it more.

Hey thanks for watching. Sorry to hear that they aren’t being helpful. That’s what it was like for me with my V3… if they won’t replace the esc, you could try bringing it to an electrical repair shop to see whether they can get it working? Or you could try sell it for parts and buy a new board

@@ronanhutchinson actually used your video about replacing the motor to figure out how to take apart the board. Unplug and replugged the ESC and Im pretty sure its working right now!

Oh good to know! Yeah, I don’t use the cellular option at all, I’d be happy enough to use it, but I feel like you’d probably have to pay extra, and that’s something I’m not interested in right now. But at least it’s starting to arrive.

@@ronanhutchinson I’d be the same but it now lets us buy the stainless steel versions which we couldn’t before and more of a possibility of Dublin getting a genuine Apple Store as they have that option now 👍⌚️

Hi 👋🏻 thanks for watching! Ooh that’s a REALLY tough question. Cause I really like all three. Ultimately, I think I like the Alpine best because of how it looks. But I think the trail is the most comfortable. But all three are very comfortable. And I think the Ocean band is the most practical / durable. But if I could only wear one, I think it’d be the Alpine Loop.

I REALLY like how the Ultra looks. I really like how the three bands look for it too, and I know I’m not the only one, so I’d say it is subjective after all. But you’re absolutely entitled to your opinions and to feel the way you do about the Apple Watch Ultra. I agree with you, Apple will eventually bring out a design refresh on the entire watch line, and the Ultra may well end up looking like a bigger version of the standard watch, or be discontinued at that point. Although, as long as it’s selling, I think it’ll continue. (I use my action button for workouts, and I use it almost every day 😂😂) I’m sorry the Ultra isn’t doing it for you. Hopefully you’ll get something that suits you better, or the next watch line in September has something for you. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it!! 😊

Hey Thanks for watching!! I didn’t know that about AceDeck. At least they took the board off their website. I understand trucks can break and stuff. But acknowledging the problem and solving it before the truck actually snapped would have gone a long way towards building trust. I don’t think I’ll ride Meepo again now. 😕

I’ve only run and showered with the Alpine loop, and it’s been totally fine. I find it the least comfortable of all three bands when it’s wet cause it gets heavier and expands with water. So it feels a little tighter on your wrist. But I haven’t had any additional irritation issues with it when it’s wet. I also don’t get a lot of irritation from the trail loop anymore either. And I’ve never had any from the ocean loop. Sorry, that’s probably not helpful for you 😅 just want to let you know my experience of the three bands. To be honest, if you prefer the look of the Trail loop, I’d recommend you go with that. If you’re swimming etc, you could pick up a solo loop for the 45mm Apple Watch for €50 and that will work well. Just make sure to go into a store and check sizes etc. I’ve found that because the body on the Apple Watch Ultra is slightly wider than my old series 6, some of my old bands are too loose with it

😔😔 that sucks. What does the squeak sound like? (I know you said squeak 😂😂) but mine was a rattle that sounded like something metal was loose in the rear truck. Turns out in my case it was the arm that holds the wheel on… I’d suggest disassembling everything and checking everything is as it should be. And if you can’t solve it, or are worried about it, try sell it and get something else. Your safety is THE most important thing. If you’re worried, and don’t trust your board, don’t risk riding it.

This was the email I sent them the second time to show the belts are not too tight. It makes the same sound with no belts as well. It's one of the motors I suppose. It seems plenty safe though, I was just disappointed with their bad customer service.

I remember when the hurricane came out, and shortly after there was a big noise about trucks breaking too. I’ve since become friends with someone who that happened to! I must check out their new racing board to see what it’s offering. I don’t know if an all new truck design is a good thing or a bad thing where Meepo is concerned 😅😅

Yeah, it feels like plastic to me. Either way, I’d rather smash it than my watch 😅😅

Hey. Thanks for watching. The only other boards I’ve tried are Maxfind and Boosted. I really love my Boosted Board. But they’re very expensive, and you have to buy them second hand… Maxfind are really nice too. They have some good boards on offer. I also really like the boards Exway have right now. They look great, but I’ve never tried Exway.

Hi 👋🏻 from Dublin. I’ve never used WowGo. But I’ve never heard of anyone complaining about them either, so they’re hopefully pretty decent. Tynee are another company who make some pretty nice longboards and seem to be decent too. They’re worth checking out. If you’re looking to buy either, I’d recommend a quick search online to see what other users are saying about them.

It would. But it’s not as much fun to ride.

I just tried it on my old series 6 and it fits surprisingly well.

Yeah, I think they do. But the one I had was barely noticeable. But it was definitely slightly less responsive alright!

Yes exactly. I tried two. The first was complete 💩. I had to push really hard for it to register anything and the crown was hard to rotate. And the second is almost pretty much perfect but sometimes the touchscreen is a little unresponsive.

Hey! Thanks for watching. No, not just when it’s wet. In fairness, I haven’t gotten it wet that much unless I’m trying to clean it… essentially, when it’s on my wrist, after a while (few days) it starts to irritate my wrist. I wouldn’t call it chaffing, cause it’s not sore. Just more itchy etc. I have found over time, the problem is getting less and less, and when it does happen, if I loosen the tightness a little, it usually solves it. I’ve another video coming about it soon.

I haven’t heard of anyone else I know having that issue with trucks on the Envy. But Meepo trucks have been known to break like that in the past. I know someone whose front truck snapped on their Meepo Hurricane a few years back.

Hey. Thanks for watching, I’m glad you liked the video. To be honest with you, I don’t know if it could happen on the V4S… I knew I had a problem with my Envy before the truck broke because it was making a terrible rattle when I was riding. Meepo claimed that was normal, but then the truck broke, so I’ve stopped using my Meepos. But if you’re not hearing any bad rattles from the trucks / motor assembly, hopefully you’ll be ok.

@funnyfish9360 yeah, I’d always recommend checking nuts and bearings are all ok every once in a while anyway. But definitely keep a good eye on it. Given you’ve already put a lot of miles on it already, hopefully you’ll be ok.

Thanks for the tip. I prefer longboard style boards that have some flex in the deck. But I also still don’t trust those trucks… I’d rather try a different brand altogether at this stage. Just had too many things go wrong.

@@ronanhutchinson What sucks even more is i just healed up from a broken elbow after getting almost 1000miles on the envy in 6 months, but was leaning too far forward on a steep hill that was rough pavement and the board got a little wheel chatter/drift and it tripped me and i broke elbow. But now seeing that EXACT sound in your video that my board has been making, concerns me so much so I won't RIDE RIDE that deck until I get new trucks.

Yeah, I definitely feel like I’ve had more, and more serious issues with the more recent boards. It sucks cause they are fun to ride. But I’m not willing to risk it now.

Aw sorry to hear that! I totally understand how you feel. Once you lose that confidence in the board it’s hard to keep riding it. I agree completely with what you’re saying about their customer service saying the boards are safe. If they said “we need to investigate this and you need to send the board back to us” I’d be happier. Because then you’d feel like they’re actually trying to make sure their boards are safe.
